Nagpur :- A blood donation camp was successfully organized at the National Academy of Defence Production (NADP) on 29 Sep 24, in association with Lifeline Blood Centre, Nagpur. The event saw enthusiastic participation from officers, employees, their family members, and students from the PGDM program, contributing to this noble cause.
The camp was graced by the presence of Dr. JP Dash, Chief General Manager, NADP, Dr. A S Khan, General Manager, NADP, and Dr. Harish Barve, Medical Director, Lifeline Blood Centre. Their active involvement and encouragement boosted the morale of the participants.
A total of 29 individuals, including 27 men and two women, came forward to donate blood. Their contributions will significantly benefit those in need of life-saving blood transfusions.
Dr. Harish Barve, on behalf of Lifeline Blood Centre, extended his gratitude to the National Academy of Defence Production for their support and dedication in organizing the camp. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in creating awareness and promoting community health. He tried to remove the misunderstanding regarding blood donation in the minds of the people and told them the benefit of blood donation. He also gave some tips on good health and how to maintain it through regular morning exercise and balanced nutritional diet.
The National Academy of Defence Production remains committed to serving the community and will continue to undertake similar initiatives in the future.
