State government is Trade & Industry friendly – Eknath Shinde CM 

– Satisfaction of being heard, trade & industry eagerly awaits resolution of their issues – Dr Dipen Agrawal 

Nagpur :- An interactive meet was held with Shri Eknath Shinde Hon’ble Chief minister Government of Maharashtra today at Nagpur, along with prominent trade and industry associations of Nagpur consisting of Chamber of Associations of Maharashtra Industry and Trade (CAMIT), Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA), Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC), Butibori Manufacturers Association (BMA), MIDC Industries Association (MIA) etc. in prominence presence of Krupal Tumane Member of Parliament (Ramtek), Adv. Ashish Jaiswal Member of Legislative Assembly (Ramtek) and Deepak Sawant Former Minister Government of Maharashtra.

At the Outset Dr Dipen Agrawal President (CAMIT) Welcomed the Chief Minister  Eknath Shinde with Shawl, CAMIT dupatta and a floral bouquet. Dr Dipen Agrawal President (CAMIT) briefed the  Chief Minister regarding various issues of the Trade and industry such as that Nazul-land is also leased for commercial use and the original proposal as envisaged in 2019 provided for converting the Nazul-land leased for commercial purpose to freehold on payment of 10% premium as against 5% premium for Nazul-land leased for residential purpose. Dr Agrawal requested the CM to revisit the matter and give the benefit of the instant Abhay Yojna to Nazul-land leased for Commercial purpose on payment of premium at 4% of ready reckoner rate on parity basis, He further apraised the CM that on government directions in 2019, Municipal Corporations across the state increased the lease rent to 8% of property value for leaseholders and also for licensee galedharak, NMRDA, Closure of LBT Dept, Jalna Trade License, MSME 43(B)(h) rule regarding payment within 45 days, Delay in Disbursement of Incentives to Industries etc.

Pravin Tapadia Past President VIA appraised the CM about hardships being faced by industries in MIDC areas. He appealed The CM to appoint/post a Dy CEO at Nagpur so the issues are addressed on priority. He also appraised hardships about MPCB clearances.

Nitin Lonkar, President BMA placed before the CM issues of Industries in Butibori MIDC Area, he also requested for an Electronic zone in ButiBori MIDC, also an Industry Representative on the MIDC Board.

Hemant Gandhi, Past President NVCC, appealed the CM to form a Committee of Trade and Industry representatives along with Govt. officials to address the issues and hardships and also compensate the traders for their losses during force majeure event.

P. Mohan Secretary MIA, appraised the CM about the depleting infrastructure of MIDC Hingna Area and lacklustre approach of the MIDC officials towards the problems of Industry.

Eknath Shinde Hon’ble Chief Minister after noting down all the issues placed before him assured to address all the issues in a time bound manner and said that the present government is trade and industry friendly and ease of doing business shall not be compromised.
