Nagpur :- New English Junior College, Mahal Nagpur organized an educational tour to the Gorewada Biodiversity Park on May 16, 2023.
The 15 students from the Biology department of std. XII associated with their teachers, Dr. Devashree Nagarkar and Barkha Jaiswalfor the tour. The tour host, Shubham Chhapekar (Biologist, Gorewada Zoo), guided and explained many species of birds and animals to the students.
They were taken on the walking trail where students got a chance to experience nature closely. Students explored the lakes, various types of birds, animals, insects, butterflies and plants. The excursion also encouraged students to join “Life” a lifestyle for environment campaign. It was an enriching outdoor classroom experience for the students.
Overall, an educational visit was instructive, insightful and inspired the students to explore the flora and fauna.
