Nagpur :- Urban Enviro Waste Management Limited, a leading Solid Waste Management company based in Nagpur, Maharashtra, and listed on the NSE, has been awarded the prestigious contract for Collection, transportation, processing, and disposal of the Solid Waste to achieve Sustainable and Zero Landfill Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2024.This significant achievement underscores the companies unwavering commitment to environmental excellence and dedication to serving the pilgrims, or yatris, undertaking this sacred journey.
The role in this project includes, striving to achieve sustainable waste management and zero landfill, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment on both the Baltal and Pahalgam routes, providing Essential Facilities to Yatris, raising awareness about waste management and environmental sustainability and enhancing the overall yatra experience through technology.

A significant milestone in this journey was reached on June 22, 2024, when yatra anthem, logo, yatra website, and apps were officially launched by the Honourable Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and other dignitaries at Raj Bhavan, Srinagar. This auspicious event was graced by the presence of Anoo Malhotra, Director General of DRS, the CEO of the Amarnath Yatra Shrine Board, other esteemed dignitaries from the Jammu and Kashmir government, and the dedicated team from URBAN.
