Nagpur :- Sakhe Sobati Foundation, Nagpur, has organised a mega blood donation camp on April 28 at IMA Hall, North Ambazari Road.
Indian Medical Association (IMA) Nagpur, the 1986 batch of GMC Nagpur and IGMC Nagpur along with GMC Nagpur Blood Bank have extended their valuable support to the camp, which has been organised in the fond memories of late Dr Shyam Chhadi and late Kishor Charde.
As we all are aware of the fact that shortage of blood has claimed several lives so far. According to experts, in every two seconds, someone in India needs blood and one out of every three of us will need blood in our lifetime. Despite the technological advancements, there remains no alternative to blood and 1 unit of blood can save as many as three lives.
Hence , the Sakhe Sobati Foundation has taken this initiative to organise a blood donation camp in the city, informed a press communique released by president of Sakhe Sobati Foundation Mahendra Mulkulwar (7774027683).
