Nagpur :- Delhi Public School Kamptee Road, Nagpur organised Annual Sports Day for Grade IIon 17th February, 2023 to inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship. The theme of the Sports Day was Rio de Janeiro Carnival – Brazil. The participants were dressed up in colourful and vibrant costumes perfectly matching the carnival theme. The event started with some words of enlightenment by the honourable Chief Guest Dr. Amit Samarth, Bicycle Mayor. The Principal welcomed the gathering and boosted the students’ morale for the races. This was followed by a colourful and energetic drill performed in a synchronized way by the students dressed in attractive costumes. Some fascinating races like Relay Race,Rolling the Ball, Dressing up for the Carnival and Off to Brazil were organized for the students.
Special races for the parents were also organized like Musical Chairs and Tug
of War. During the Prize Distribution Ceremony, the winners were awarded medals and certificates certificate by the Chief Guest himself. In the end, Ritu Sharma, the Principal thanked and expressed her gratitude to everyone for their presence and support and congratulated the students for their
exceptional performances.
The students and parents departed from the venue with memorable fun-filled
experiences.
