Mumbai :-Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais offered floral tributes to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on the occasion of birth anniversary of the two great leaders at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Mon (2 Oct).
A cleanliness campaign was conducted in Raj Bhavan while the Governor administered the pledge of cleanliness to the staff and officers of Raj Bhavan.
Staff members committed themselves to render 100 hours of Shramdaan every year or 2 hours of Shramdaan every week, to maintain cleanliness throughout the year.
In today’s cleanliness drive, officers and employees of the Raj Bhavan cleaned the office premises of Raj Bhavan, the Raj Bhavan beach, the residential colony area and the Devi Mandir area.
