Nagpur :- A machine of cold drinking water (Sheetal Jal Pyau) was recently installed by Akhil Bhartiya Marwadi Mahila Sammelan at the gates of of ISKCON’s Annamrit Foundation. Annamrita’s Late Swarnlata and Late Govind das sarraf(Tumsarwale) centralized kitchen which was constructed by the advice and mercy of Shrila Lokanath Swami Maharaj, world famous Kirtankar and beloved deciple of A.C. Bhaktivedant Swami Shrila Prabhupada, founder Acharya of ISKCON. This kitchen is located in Ramanuja Nagar, Kalamna Market to Bharatwada Road, It is near the old Hare Krishna (ISKCON) Temple, where currently the construction work of cement road of Smart City is going on. On the same road, near the main gate of Annamrita, this machine was installed. The machine was inaugurated at the hands of All India Madhyanchal president of Akhil Bhartiya Marwadi Mahila Sammelan Sharda Devi Mehadiya and Nagpur’s well-known advocate Suresh Chandra Mehadiya. by making Swastika on it and by garlanding it. Project director and kitchen in-charge of Annamrita Foundation Bhagirath Prabhu performed the Pooja. Sharda Devi Mehadiya filled the first glass of cold water from the machine and offered it to Shri Krishna. After that she along the other office bearers of the Marwadi Mahila Sammelan Maya Sharma, Secretary, Jyoti Agarwal, Nisha Agarwal, Kumkum Agarwal, Vandana Agarwal Archana Patodia, Nandini Patodia etc. filled one glass of water and offered to the Banyan tree in front of the gates. Thus, the formal inauguration was done. A large number of dignitaries including Kunjbihari Agarwal, Adv. Ashish Mehadia,Uday Prakash Mehadia, Rajkumar Mehadia, Nitin Mehadia, Piyush Mehadia, Rishi Patodia etc. were present at this time.
After the inauguration of Pyau, Project Director and Manager of Annamrita Foundation, Rajendran Raman made everyone take a tour of the entire centralized kitchen and informed about the kitchen. He told that the, kitchen starts at four in the morning. Steam cooking is done by automatic machines, due to which there is no loss of nutrients in the food. He also informed that the capacity of this kitchen is to cook food for one lack people per day. But right now food is being prepared only for 15 to 20 thousand and is distributed at free of cost to the children of 95 schools, to the relatives of the patients of Medical College, Cancer Hospital and AIIMS Hospital located in Mihan. All this is done with the help of donors.
Dr. Shyamsundar Sharma, Chairman of Annamrita Foundation, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Adv. Suresh Chandra Mehadiya, Sharda Devi Mehadiya, Ad Ashish Mehadiya and the whole family, who donated all the money for the installation of the machine. Dr. Sharma said that the water of this pyau will be double filtered and will be softened with a softener. Being in the middle of Bharatwada to Kalamna market, it will be very useful for the people and students passing from this area. This program was followed by Lunch Prasadan.
