SIT Headed by Female IPS Officeo will Conduct Fast track Investigation
Mumbai, 6 : Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has taken serious notice of the heinous brutality on a woman at Savartoli in Gondia district and has directed an investigation of the entire matter through an SIT headed by an IPS rank female police officer.
This act is like a black spot on humanity. Thorough investigation should be done on fast track and strict action should be taken against the accused. Such severe punishment should be given to the accused that no one should dare to commit such heinous act in future, the Chief Minister gave such instructions.
The Chief Minister also has a discussion with the Director General of Police in this regard. The chief minister has also directed the administration to ensure that the victim woman gets all possible treatment and that no harm is done.
