CAIT to conduct nationwide campaign on Traders Issues

Nagpur :- The business community across the country is badly plagued by various problems due to which it is becoming difficult to do business conveniently.On one hand the complexities of the GST tax system are not leaving the chase while on the other hand the nefarious attempt by foreign companies to destroy the business of traders through e-commerce, in blatant disregard of law and rules, continues. Along with this, the multiplicity of many types of decades old laws and hoards of licences for doing business have troubled the traders to a great extent. In these circumstances, Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has announced to launch a nationwide campaign on trade related problems. This decision was taken by CAIT in a two day National Traders Conference organized on 1st and 2nd November in New Delhi. More than 150 prominent business leaders from 26 states of the country participated in the conference, while more than 100 business leaders from Delhi also participated in the various sessions of the conference.

CAIT National President BC Bhartia and Secretary General  Praveen Khandelwal said that under the nationwide campaign run by CAIT on various trade related issues, a memorandum will be given to the Central Government and all the State Governments, demanding solutions to the issues, so that the “Ease of doing business” vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi can be achieved for conducting smooth business activities across the Country.

Bhartia and Khandelwal said that rapid change occurring in the nature of doing business,in view of this and to take Prime Minister Modi’s Digital India program to every corner of the country and to encourage traders to adopt digital technology and digital payments in their existing business format and to also awaken public opinion across the country about digital technology, CAIT will run a digital revolution Rath Yatra for 90 days from January 2023.For planning and implementation of this Rath Yatra, CAIT has constituted an 11-member National Committee under the leadership of its National Vice President and President of Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce, Amar Parwani.

Bhartia and Khandelwal also said that the year 2023 will be celebrated as the year of Vyapari Samman Varsh. With the slogan of “Vyapari rahe samman se- vyapar kare swabhiman se” , large-scale programs, honor ceremonies and other events will be organized across the country throughout the year, for which a 21-member national committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of  Bhupendra Jain, President of CAIT Madhya Pradesh. The three mascots of the traders; Bhamashah, Lala Lajpat Rai and Raja Todarmal will be glorified in this year through long events.
