Pays respects to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
Mumbai :-Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan Mumbai before proceeding for his other official engagements early on Thursday (5th Jan).
On the request of the Governor, Yogi Adityanath visited the 19th Century underground British Era Bunker at Raj Bhavan and inspected the Gallery of Revolutionaries ‘Kranti Gatha’ created inside the bunker. The Museum was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in June last year.
Yogi Adityanath offered his respects at the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj installed inside the museum and got himself apprised of the work of various revolutionaries during the Indian freedom movement.
The UP Chief Minister later visited the historic Sri Gundi Devi Mandir located at the cliff of Malabar Point facing the Arabic ocean inside Raj Bhavan and performed the Aarti with the staff and devotees present.
Yogi also stood at the huge statue of Lord Shiva sitting in a meditation posture installed outside the temple recently.
Officers of Raj Bhavan showed Yogi Adityanath around the premises.
