Nagpur :-“The Symbiosis Centre for Skill Development recently organized its cultural event, ‘Aarambh 2024’. Which witnessed a grand opening with the lighting of the lamp and sarswati vandana, by esteemed guests Gourav Bhardwaj, the Creative Education Director of Ikonic, Mr. Dharam Atkare. Expert hair stylist, And Dr. Jaiprakash Paliwal, Director SCSD.
The event started with Ganesh Vandana, performed by the SCSD students. The graceful movements and expressions of the dancers set the tone for the day.
One of the highlights of the event was the Fashion Show, where 52 artists participated in makeup competition & showcased their skills and creativity alongside their stunning models. The fashion show was organised in 5 different categories i.e Saree Bride look, Lehenga Bride Look, Haldi Look, Reception Look, Maharashtrian Bride Look. The audience witnessed a diverse range of makeup looks & appreciated the artist with rounds of applaud. Gaurav Bhardwaj conducted a ‘Look and Learn’ seminar, enlightening the attendees about the upcoming High Fashion hair trends for 2024. The seminar included demonstrations on four models onstage, providing valuable insights into the latest techniques and styles.
Motivational speeches by Dharam Atkare, urging the audience to embrace their passions and pursue their dreams, added an inspirational touch to the event. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as participants from the PMKVY 4.0 RPL batch of Beauty Therapist २ & ३ received their certificates, symbolizing the successful completion of the training program.
Last but not least, the much-awaited moment arrived as the winners were announced. The competition was fierce, and the judges carefully deliberated to select the first and second prize winners in each category. The winners were awarded with trophies and certificates from SCSD & gift hampers from Ikonic. The participants from various location & town like, Bhandara, Mouda, Warora enthusiastically participated in the event.
To conclude the event, the Faculty Head, Mrs. Veena Parsanani, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of everyone involved in making ‘Aarambh 2024’ a resounding success.

SCSD has launched further two new programs to help the youth gain confidence & employment opportunity. The new programs very much in demand, are English Communication & Graphic Designing.
