– Siyavar Ramachandra ki Jai slogans rent the air at the Kalaram temple premises
Nashik :- Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the historic Shri. Kalaram Temple here today and sought blessings from Lord Shri Rama. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also performed the ritual puja and aarti at the Kalaram temple.
The temple management felicitated the Prime Minister on the occasion presenting him with a silver image of Lord Rama, a shawl and Shripal.
The Kalaram temple’s Chief Mahant Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Sudhirdas Maharaj along with Shri Kalaram Mandir Sansthan Trustees Dhananjaya Pujari & dignitaries belonging to the Warkari sect and religious and saintly families were also present on the occasion.
On this occasion, the 8th chapter (verses) of the Abhang and Bhavartha Ramayana (which details Lord Sri Ram’s residence in Nashik) was also read out in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the Mahant, Warkaris and descendants of the saints and holy men were present in the temple area.
