Nagpur :- In a glittering function held at Utsav Hall of NADP, two luminaries of Nagpur shared their Vision of India@ 2027 in Amrit Kaal.
Dr. Atul Narayan Vaidya, serving as the Director of CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur, emphasized the significance of embracing comprehensive sustainability approaches, which encompass environmental considerations. He particularly highlighted the critical role of waste management and the adoption of circular economy principles. Lastly, he underscored the importance of assessing growth patterns in terms of carbon footprint.
Dr. Pramod M. Padole, Director of VNIT, Nagpur, advocated for leveraging technology to address grassroots and local challenges, aiming to benefit society. He inspired participants by citing examples of successful small-scale projects undertaken at VNIT Nagpur, suggesting that all students possess the capability to undertake similar endeavors.
Dr. J P Dash, Chief General Manager, NADP, expressed that India has progressed from being ranked among the bottom five nations to aspiring to be among the top five. Transitioning from a five-year plan approach, the nation now envisions a trajectory spanning 25 years. India is reshaping its narrative, focusing on building an inclusive society, fostering a sustainable ecosystem, and assuming the role of a responsible global citizen. NADP is dedicated to cultivating a vital talent pool through its pioneering PDGM program in Defence, the first of its kind in the nation.
Alongside the insightful discussions, NADP also hosted an Arms and Ammunition exhibit during the event, offering students a distinctive chance for hands-on exploration and educational experience.
The inaugural batch of PGDM students at NADP, specializing in Defence, is actively establishing an ecosystem within the nation to foster self-reliance (Atma Nirbhar Bharat) and promote the “Make in India” initiative. Their efforts aim to elevate the Defence sector’s contribution to the National Manufacturing GDP.
Faculty and students from various esteemed institutions such as G H Raisoni University, Raisoni School of Law, Centre of Excellence in AI/ML, Department of Business Management at Nagpur, Hislop College Nagpur, Lovely Professional University, Priyadarshini College of Engineering Nagpur, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaja University Nagpur, School of Agribusiness Management Nagpur, School of Nursing at G H Raisoni University Saikheda Dist Chhindwara MP, and Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management Nagpur participated in the event with great enthusiasm.
