Nagpur :- National Academy of Defence Production (NADP) Nagpur successfully conducted a Management Development Program (MDP) for Medical officers of the Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service (IOFHS) at Srinagar from 22-24 July 2024.
The programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Sanjeev Gupta IOFS Addl. Director General Ordnance, Directorate of Ordnance (C&S), Kolkata.This specialized training program aimed to enhance the leadership and managerial skills of IOFHS officers, equipping them with the latest strategies, practices to effectively manage their higher responsibilities and to align them with the Govt. policies for Universal Health Coverage & Ayushmann Bharat Digital Mission.
The MDP covered a range of topics including Best Practices in Hospital Management”, “Familiarization with Central Health Services (CHS): Structure, Roles, Responsibilities, Challenges & Opportunities, ABDM Stakeholder Ecosystem & Intended Benefits, Digital Health Incentives Schemes & ABDM Grievance Redressal, “Role of NHA in achieving the vision of Universal Health Coverage including environmental visits etc.
Senior Govt officials and faculty from IIM Jammu led the sessions, provided valuable insights and practical knowledge. The program was an enriching experience, fostering professional growth and development. among participants. 47 Senior Medical officers from different Ordnance Factory Hospitals attended the programme.
