Nagpur :- DPS MIHAN marked International Womens Day with a series of events celebrating women’s empowerment. The theme, ‘Honouring Womanhood,’ aimed to pay tribute to the resilience and achievements of women globally. Students from Grades III to V held a special assembly portraying famous women figures, while a podcast was presented by the Grades VI – VIII highlighting women’s accomplishments in unconventional careers. Children from Grades Pre-Nursery to Preparatory made beautiful cards for their lovely moms.
International Womens Day serves as a platform to amplify women’s voices, advocate for their rights, and foster inclusivity. The students of Grades VII – IX had a unique chance to interact with leading women achievers in the field of Mountaineering, Skydiving, Skiing, Formula -4 racing and Ultra-marathon running in the WANI summit ’24. The school recognizes women’s diverse contributions in shaping societies and advancing humanity.
