Nagpur :-Day under the leadership of Shri Manish Agarwal, Divisional Railway Manager, Central Railway, Nagpur Various programs were organized on Nagpur Division on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
In the presidential address at the grand program organized in ‘Gunjan’ auditorium, the Divisional Railway Manager expressed his valuable views. In which he wished all the female employees present and said, “Happy International Women’s Day” to all my colleagues.
Praising women, he said that today women work very hard and are leaders in every field.
President, Women’s Welfare Organization, Nagpur Division, Nidhi Agarwal extended best wishes to all the women employees on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
Chief guest advocate Mukta Ranade expressed her views regarding the legal provisions and protection given to women. He gave legal information on the topics of dowry system, protection of children from sexual crimes (POCSO law), right touch, wrong touch, will, divorce deed, advice to pregnant women not to do gender test, etc.
An outstanding 14 women employees from the Railway Department were awarded for their remarkable work in the fields of cultural/social/literary/sports etc.
Staff Benefit Fund organized various 1 minute competitions like Musical Chair, Chilli Game, Gol-Gappa, Leg Pulling, Pulses Separation, “Making Umbrella from Match Sticks” and Rangoli. 24 winners of these competitions were awarded with the blessings of Nidhi Agarwal. .
The stage was conducted by Arundhati Deshmukh, Senior Divisional Medical Officer. About 350 women employees of the division participated in the program. P.S. Khairkar Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Admin), Sanjhi Jain, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer and all the officers were present.
