NAGPUR :- After having rationalised Metro fares since March 1, especially for students considering the harsh summer that Nagpurians face, Maha Metro Nagpur has come up with yet another unique scheme aimed at encouraging schools and colleges to plan ride for their students in air conditioned metro trains on any given day of the week for just ₹ 3,500.
Celebration on Wheels – a unique concept which allows citizens to celebrate birthdays, other events on board metro train has been a major attraction for the people of Nagpur. Now Celebration on Wheel exclusively booked by educational institutions for students on any dayof the week for just ₹ 3,500. (Letter of Educational Institution to be attached with the application form).
Nagpur is one of the hottest cities of country and the summer temperature often crosses 400 C barrier. The city roads are deserted and people rarely venture out of their houses. Summer is all set to set in and the temperature is already nearing 400 C.Considering the impending summer vacations for schools, colleges and other educational institutions, Maha Metro Nagpur has incentivised this scheme.
That apart, Nagpur Metro has also rationalized its Celebration on Wheels charges forSundays from 6 am to 1 pm. (The trip to end by 1 pm). The Celebration on Wheels facility can be booked on Sundays from 6 am to 1 pm ₹ 3,500 only. This is applicable to one and all and has been planned to facilitate Nagpurians to venture out of their houses during the harsh summer for shopping and other purposes.
This apart, Celebration on Wheels booked on any other given day, except those mentioned above would be charged at ₹ 5,000, as before. Nagpur Metro’s unique Celebration on Wheels facility has proved to be a big boon for Nagpurians, with people of different age group and with unique occasions like birthday, party having experienced it. With temperatures set to soar in the coming days, Nagpur Metro urges citizens to avail of this facility and celebrate their event in a unique manner and get relief from the scorching summer.
