Yesterday an exam was held wherein 350 ‘interested’ candidates of Maharashtra cadre applied to become the IAS. I will tell you in advance who the government will recommend. It will be Dhananjay Munde’s PS Prashant Bhambre, DCM Fadnavis’s OSD Dilip Rajurkar, Panvel Municipal Corporation’s MC Ganesh Deshmukh , one Prashant Rasaal, and one from the Revenue department ! It is learnt that till Loksabha elections are over HM and DCM Devendra Fadnavis is in no mood to move Nagpur CP Amitesh Kumar. I think it will be when Kiara Advani will have babies that Thane CP Jaijeet Singh will be relieved from his post, and when that happens another cream posting of DG Anti Corruption Bureau awaits him. Both Amitabh Gupta and Ashutosh Dumbre are in competition for becoming the next Thane Police Commissioner. In Pune, Joint Commissioner of Police Sandip Karnik has given Nashik’s CP post owing to the importance Nashik is assuming post various morcha’s and agitations in that region. Ankush Shinde was considered a bit ‘soft’ (language of my source in Home Dept) and now a well balanced Karnik takes his place. Pune CP Ritesh Kumar, is what I have heard, can be shifted too and the only person who currently is the hot favourite of this government, Amitesh Kumar, after his Nagpur stint, will become the Pune CP. Likes of Vinoy Choubey can be sent as Nagpur CP. Prashant Burde can come as Pimpri Chinchwad Police COmmissioner. There is a race for Joint CP post which lies vacant in Pune and Navi Mumbai. Both Dilip Sawant and Sanjay Yenpure are being considered for the same.
Ganesh Deshmukh v/s Dilip Dhole.
Dilip Dhole was considered as the hot favourite of CM Eknath Shinde and it was due to CM Shinde’s blessings that an ordinary PA became a Municipal Commissioner. But the fact remains that after he was thrown out as Commissioner of Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation even after 5 months Dilip Dhole remains at home with no posting. But then his wife Sujata Dhole who is additional commissioner at the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation is working very hard. So much so that after being an AMC at Navi Mumbai, she still holds an additional charge of Deputy Commissioner for Property Tax for the last 4 years. Why? DO I need to tell you why an AMC holds a property tax DC post for 4 years? Both Dhole’s I have heard are building a huge hospital in Baramati. Hence so much burden on both…Dhole who basically are from the GST department. How come their deputation never ends, GAD? But about a month or two ago, Panvel Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ganesh Deshmukh and Dilip Dhole had a major argument in Varsha bungalow, residence of CM EknatH Shinde in front of everyone. Deshmukh warned Dhole for his antics, I heard. What Dhole was trying, he was lobbying for his wife Sujata to become the 1st women Municipal Commissioner of Panvel Corporation which Ganesh Deshmukh on learning this, became furious. He knows what will happen to the Corporation if the Dhole’s take charge. A complaint has been received against Dilip Dhole at a police station that he tried to murder someone in Baramati ! I don’t know what is wrong with the CMO and CM Eknath Shinde. In spite of us writing to him and telling him how this Pardeshi works and also asking the CM to talk to Ganesh Naik, the CMO went ahead and now Santosh Singh Pardeshi sits in the war room of the CMO.
Pratap Sarnaik wants to become a Minister anyhow in this government or maybe post 2024. But then, CM Eknath Shinde is interested in fielding him against Rajan Vichare for Thane Loksabha and what I have heard even Sanjiv Naik wants to contest the same seat. Heard one of them also knocked the doors of Matoshri if one of them is not considered. SO it can be a triple threat match as it is called in the WWE, if Sarnaik agrees!
Will be writing soon on “Shashan Aaplya Daari” (Government at your doorstep). Rs 3 crore per program is dedicated to this government program and it is conducted with the help of Collector. But then who makes money in this and through which vendors and which ‘Shinde’ is involved in this, on that very soon!
