Nagpur :- A delegation of CM of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath interacted with the industrial fraternity of Vidarbha region and discussed to explore “Business Opportunities in Uttar Pradesh” at VIA, Nagpur today.
Delegation led by Awanish Awasthi, Advisor to CM of Uttar Pradesh was the Addl Chief Secretary, Home Deptt of Uttar Pradesh gave a presentation on today’s Uttar Pradesh, how it has vertically grown under the leadership of Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath. He said the growth of India can be achieved through industrialization as UP is the fourth largest population wise in the world, if considered a country. The advantages are largest labour availability and variety of agricultural produce, the economy GDP is growing at 11% p.a. UP wants to enter into a trillion dollar economy, for these different industrial clusters have been made in different regions of UP. As now a biggest green airport with all modern facilities is coming up by March 2024 at Zaver, these all benefits were elaborated by Awanish Awasthi. He further appealed to the industrialists of Vidarbha to expand their businesses in UP, as UP has a population of approx. 21 Crores a huge consumer base available for marketing manufactured products.
Awanish Awasthi invited all industrialists to visit “UP Global Investors Summit” which will be held in Lucknow from 10th to 12th February 2023.
Arun Vir Singh, IAS, CEO – Yamuna Expressway Indl Development Authority also informed about connectivity of UP Industrial Estates with all modern facilities.
Dr G N Singh, Ex-Drug Controller General of India (DCGI), Advisor to CM-UP appealed to set up pharma equipment manufacturing at Yamuna Express Industrial Park having a very big Pharma Devise Cluster near Zaver Industrial Estate.
On this occasion, R C Plasto has signed an MoU to expand their business manufacturing activity in the north-eastern part of UP, so as to supply to Nepal and other eastern part of the country. As economically it is more viable as transport cost from Nagpur is not economically viable to supply to Nepal.
