International Tiger Day is an annual celebration to raise awareness about tiger conservation and instill a sense of responsibility towards protecting these majestic creatures. It is observed on 29th July each year. To promote this cause, the little toddlers of Grade Pre-Nursery of Delhi Public School Kamptee Road, Nagpur participated enthusiastically in different activities.
The little munchkins did various artwork like sponge dabbing on the cutout of the tiger which allowed them to explore different textures and colors while connecting with the tiger’s appearance., pasting black strips on the body of the tiger learning about the distinctive stripes that make tigers unique and camouflaged in their natural habitat and making the impression of a tiger stamp using poster colours. In addition to the art activities, some students proudly donned tiger masks, symbolizing their solidarity with the cause and their commitment to spreading awareness about tiger conservation.
The day’s events were designed to leave a lasting impression on the young minds, fostering a sense of love and respect for wildlife. By participating in these activities, the students acknowledged the importance of tigers in the world and the urgent need to protect and preserve them for future generations.
