Mumbai :- Emphasis is given on solar energy in order to take agriculture, electricity generation, industries and service sectors ahead. As such quality work should be ensured while accelerating the on going work of solar energy projects in the state directed Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Maharashtra State Electricity Board was held at the Sahyadri guest house under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Chief Minister said that we have to make Maharashtra self- reliant in the energy sector and for that all the companies associated with electricity are to be brought in a better state. He said that we will have to consider the listing of such companies in the future to increase the participation of the people. The Chief Minister also directed to make the administration at district and divisional level more capable so as to resolve the complaints of the companies under the energy department, within the stipulated period.
Minister of state for energy and Vice President of the Board Meghna Bordikar, Secretary of the Chief Minister Srikar Pardesi, Managing Director of the company Abha Shukla, Director Lokesh Chandra, Radhakrishnan B, Anudip Dighe, Independent Director Vishwas Pathak, Neeta Kelkar and other senior officers were present.
