Nagpur :- Before I start my blog on the newly recruited DCP’s of Mumbai, one good news! So my father, Journalist Hemant Joshi, yesterday in Marathi made a video on our YouTube channel (Vikrant Joshi) on the Co-operation Department that how CM Eknath Shinde & Co-op Minister Atul Save will face embarrassment if they recruit a certain Vikas Rasaal as Director-Marketing. Little did we know that his order was already done and only the CM’s sign was pending. But to our and everyone’s good luck, someone must have shown our video to the Chief Minister, and boom, last evening the order to appoint Vikas Rasaal as Director-Marketing has been cancelled herewith . Kudos to you baba! By the way he is the same Rasaal who was caught with Rs. 65 lakhs cash at the airport and his house was raided by the IT sleuths. I had broken the story of the IT raid at his Bandra government colony residence a few years back!
Now, yesterday when I wrote the blog, my phone kept on ringing. Some said that CP Amitesh Kumar wouldn’t leave Nagpur for sure, some said Niket Kaushik will be appointed there as Nagpur CP, some said instead of Gupta, Ashutosh Dumbre will be Thane CP–I on purpose asked them to read my blog carefully once again, especially the line–that I am not an Astrologer, neither Eknath Shinde nor Devendra Fadnavis; I have confidence in my source and the source is not an ordinary one-mind you! 😄😉 but having said that, things change here at the last minute!
Now coming to the DCP’s & Zone’s of Mumbai. Let me ask you a riddle here. After reading this blog will you be able to find out that out of 12 DCP’s of Mumbai, how many of them are actually “Devendra Fadnavis’s” recommendation? I shall tell you that at the end and yet again you will agree with me that, CM Shinde is the BOSS and a true Chief Minister; and hats off to Fadnavis for respecting him so much and giving him that freedom! But, If CM Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis have signed the file, my information says at least 4 to 5 DCP’s of Mumbai, are a direct result of eating “Ratnagiri Mangoes”. They ate these mangoes from Ratnagiri and they got postings here. If you understand this, you will read between the lines…
Dr. Hari Balaji is Zone 1 DCP. A typical Haaji-Haaji karnewaala. Very close to one of ex-Minister of the MVA government from Amravati. It was this Minister who got Balaji to Mumbai. Does not enjoy ‘love and respect’ of his bosses. By the way, he is the same Hari Balaji who is also in the phone tapping case with Rashmi Shukla. Some say he is extremely close to ex CM Uddhav Thackeray and that is why due to old connection, CM Shinde hasn’t moved him.
Abhinav Deshmukh is Zone 2 DCP. A kitchen friend of Ajit Pawar and Supriya Sule. They say he enjoys friendship like family with both these NCP politicians. Nothing wrong. He was SP Kolhapur, SP Satara and SP Pune (Rural). Even though he is from a remote area of Maharashtra, Abhinav Dehsmukh is the son-in-law of our Mumbai. He got Mumbai purely on merit basis and integrity wise they say he is very good! Enough for our CM & DCM to give him the nod to lead Zone 2.
Akbar Pathan is Zone 3 DCP. OMG, now this one is purely a “stay away” type of person. Reason I shall tell you. Couldn’t confirm this story but here is what a SoBO aunty told me. Just a few days ago Pathan and Swamy of the SS branch raided a famous pub named ‘Epitome’ (apologies if I didn’t get the name correct) as Hookah was served there. Now Zone 3 means all elite class Jain/Gujarati husband-wife type people were sitting and enjoying hookah. The worst part was that every guest including high-profile men and women were made to wait at the police station till 4:30 in the morning when the raid was completed at 12:30 in the night. Everyone’s names and address along with Aadhar Number was noted down (for a minor offence such as smoking a hookah) and worst was for the pub management staff. Every staff member was made to wait the whole night and released the next day. Swamy is putting this on Pathan and vice-versa. By the way, the Lab report to conclude if the hookah is herbal or non-herbal takes 2 to 3 days to come. Yet Pathan & Swamy had it their way. Anyway Pathan is said to be close to ex CP Parambir Singh and if I am not mistaken, there is still a running case on him for which he was absconding too. First absconding and now directly Zone 3 DCP–CM & DCM , have a close watch on this one! Ahh, how can I forget, a DCP is a CADRE post and this Pathan is a “MAPOSE” (promotee).
Pravin Mundhe is Zone 4 DCP. Directly from Jalgaon. Mundhe loves his “Ratnagiri mangoes” so much, My Gosh!
Manoj Patil is Zone 5 DCP. He was SP Ahmednagar. CM got his posting done, but dear CM , surprise surprise!!! It is said that Manoj Patil himself is not happy here and he might approach you soon.
Hemraj Rajpoot is Zone 6 DCP. I don’t understand why does a Cadre post goes to a promotee’s especially in the IPS. After Akbar Pathan I am told Rajpoot is too a promotee. Now I have also heard that he enjoys a good rapport with Rahul Shewale and is that the reason you are the new DCP of Zone 6, Rajpoot?
Purshottam Karad is Zone 7 DCP: Couldn’t get much information on this IPS officer but he has done a decent job as DCP Traffic at Navi-Mumbai, I am told! Let’s wait and watch how he functions. Bunty Patil, who celebrated his birthday yesterday at The Taj Mahal, is a close friend of Karad. More on the birthday party of Bunty and the attendees soon and not to forget the facilities every officer enjoyed…
Dixit Kumar Gedam is Zone 8 DCP: Purely on merit, He is a Nagpurkar and lives a block away from where Fadnavis lives in Nagpur. Both CM and DCM were very happy with him and hence this cream posting. But again he loves his “Ratnagiri mangoes”.
Anil Paraskar is Zone 9 DCP -Was SP Raigad when the famous Arnab case happened. Went against the wishes of some and was side-posted by MVA to SID. Good man, I am told and very strong integrity wise.
M.C.V. Mahesh Reddy is Zone 10 DCP. Already completed 2 years now at the same posting. Very close to Dilip Mama Lande is what grapevine suggests. No complaints, and a very happy-go-lucky man. Has good relations with everyone.
Ajay Bansal is Zone 11 DCP. By the way, one of the very few North Indian officers amongst the new DCP’s. But again he loves his “Ratnagiri” mangoes.
Smita Patil is the Zone 12 DCP. She was in Thane, and now in Mumbai. I heard her brother-from-another mother MLA Prakash Surve had prayed a lot for Smita tai to come to Mumbai.
Tejasvi Satpute who is posted at HO also loves “Ratnagiri Mangoes”. Her husband too is one dedicated husband. Readers, mind you, watch out for Tejasvi Satpute. Have heard some amazing stories of her being a daredevil.
Shivraj Patil is posted as DCP Crime at Thane. Minister Sanjay Rathod, Patil’s friend, has this penchant for number ‘4’. He takes everything that is 4. Be it chocolates, books or what not…If you give him 3, he will ask for 4.
Somanth Gharge Raigad SP I am told is very good friends with everyone in all parties and his love for Dalvi, Thorve and Gogawale is special. They wanted a good officer for Konkan which they got and they too have the love for number ‘4″.
In the meantime, DCP Manjunath Singe who was DCP Zone 9 Mumbai, is side-posted somewhere in the DGP office. Heard very soon he will be going on deputation to the CBI. Now that the cat is out of the bag, would you believe that out of the above 12/13 posts only 3 are Devendra Fadnavis’s recommendation when he has the right to choose all of them. But didn’t I say above, hats off to him?
