Nagpur :-A vibrant and colourful Garba Night celebration was held at Delhi Public School, MIHAN on 17th October in connection with the ongoing Navratri festivities. This captivating two day event organized for the students of Grade III to XI aimed at providing a unique opportunity to expose the students to the rich traditions and culture of India and develop an appreciation for India’s diverse cultural heritage. The participants were encouraged to wear the traditional attire, adding an authentic touch to the festivity that featured the Garba and Dandiya folk dance performances.
President and Pro Vice Chairperson of DPS MIHAN and Kamptee Road Tulika Kedia and Director Savita Jaiswal inaugurated the glittering event that had a symphony of colours and rhythm. In her address, Tulika appreciated the enthusiastic response shown by the students and hoped that they enjoy the event thoroughly. Several foot tapping numbers kept the young dancers on the floor and they enthusiastically danced to the beats thoroughly enjoying every moment of the celebration.
Special awards like the best dance performer, best costume were given for both boys and girls categories. The entire event orchestrated by the Music and Dance department of the school who ensured their best to make this Garba celebration a happy experience for all the students involved.
