Nagpur :- Delhi Public School MIHAN collaborated with Anviti, a city-based Civil Society Organization (CSO), to conduct an Eco Bricks workshop, educating students on sustainable practices and combating plastic pollution. The students were introduced to the concept of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Reject plastic bottles and were encouraged to adapt a sustainable life style.
The Principal of DPS MIHAN Nidhi Yadav in her welcome address praised the efforts of Shefali Dudhbade for her role in conservation of nature. She also expressed her gratitude to the President and Pro Vice Chairperson of DPS MIHAN and Kamptee Road Nagpur Tulika Kedia for providing a sprawling green campus. She also thanked Savita Jaiswal for constant support to conduct activities pertaining to community wellfare.
Shefali Dudhbade, founder member of CSO Anviti along with Madhura Jugade executive coordinator for Nagpur@25 conducted the workshop and appraised the students about the adverse effects of plastics on the environment. Shafali gave the students hand on experience on the use of waste plastic bottles into a dustbin.
