Vidarbha team runners-up, Andhra Pradesh team third position
Nagpur: Chhattisgarh defeated host Vidarbha 8-3 in the final match of the 19th National Inclusion Cup 2023 Girls Slum by krida vikas sansatha (Slum Soccer) concluded on Friday. Won the title in the soccer football tournament. Andhra Pradesh beat Maharashtra team 2-1 to clinch third place Chhattisgarh defeated Vidarbha 8-3 on the strength of Priyanka Futan (4 goals) and Sanjana (3 goals) in the final match played at Slum Soccer Academy, Bokhara. The efforts of Achal Siddam, Vaishnavi Meshram and Tinkal Deshmukh (one goal each) were insufficient for the losing side. Before that, Vidarbha beat Maharashtra 4-3 in a penalty shootout while Chhattisgarh beat Andhra Pradesh 3-2 in the semi-finals. After the final match, The award winners were felicitated in the presence of Ravi Nagose (Police Inspector koradi Police Station), Praveen Munde (Social Welfare Department), Vandana Ninave (Central Bank) and Dr. Ashwini Pednekar (JD Power). On this occasion Abhijit Barse and Ranjana Barse, were present on the stage. Abhijit Barse delivered the vote of thanks while Shiba conducted the function.
