10 lakh each to the heirs of the deceased sweepers in the Sonpeth incident, Chief Minister expressed condolences

Mumbai :- Five people died while cleaning sewage from a septic tank at Bhaucha Tanda near Sonpeth town in Parbhani district on Thursday (11). Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has expressed grief over this incident and has directed the heirs of the deceased to pay Rs 10 lakh each through the scheme of the social justice department of the state government. He also directed to provide all necessary medical treatment to the workers injured in the accident at the expense of the government.

Five people died of suffocation while cleaning sewage from the septic tank of a house in a farm settlement in Bhaucha Tanda around 9 pm on Thursday. One worker has been admitted to the government hospital in Ambjogai in a critical condition. As soon as the Chief Minister came to know about this incident, he instructed the administration to provide necessary assistance immediately.
