Mumbai :- The Maharashtra government will reach out to its citizens with a bagful of schemes and benefits right at the doorstep of the common man facilitating and ensuring his work is done at the local level and his family gets the full benefits of various schemes.
A public campaign that is the brain child of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and themed as ‘Government Aplya Daari’ will soon be implemented all over the state. The state-level launch of the campaign is to be held on Saturday (May 13, 2023) at Daulatnagar in Patan region of Satara district by Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, State Excise Minister and Guardian Minister of Satara Shambhuraj Desai, Member of Parliament Dr. Shrikant Shinde among other dignitaries who will attend the event.
Citizens will be able to avail benefit of various government schemes and various important documents under the ‘Government Aaplya Daari’ campaign across Maharashtra that will reach out to them at their doorstep itself. For the effective implementation of this campaign across the state, a public welfare cell was started within the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). The entire campaign in the state will be coordinated through this cell. The district Collectors would head the campaign in their respective regions of jurisdiction. Through them, public welfare cells will also be established at the district and taluka levels. At least 75,000 beneficiaries from each district will directly benefit through various schemes in this year that is being celebrated as the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence (diamond jubilee year). A 2- day program will be organized at the district and taluka levels beginning tomorrow.
Maharojgar Fair, free health camp organized
The ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Maharojgar Melawa’ (job fair) will be held in Daulatnagar on the occasion of the launch of the ‘Government at your Doorstep’ campaign to target unemployed youth. Employment will be available to the youth in this area on the occasion of the ‘Government Aaplya Dari’ campaign. Also, a ‘Free Maha Arogya Camp’ (health camp) will be organized for health check-ups of citizens in Satara district. This camp will provide free treatment for various diseases for needy patients.
The organizers have appealed to the citizens to attend the state-level launch program, Maharojgar Mela and Mahaarogya camp in large numbers during the ‘Government Aaplya Daari’ campaign.
