Nagpur :- A sensitization training session focusing on disability awareness and effective engagement with persons with special abilities was successfully organized on dated January 21, 2025 for frontline and other railway staff of Central Railway, Nagpur Division.
The session witnessed insightful guidance from Pravin Sorte, a Shiv Chhatrapati Award-winning powerlifter, and Vijay Ghotmare, a dedicated representative of the Maharashtra Rajya Apanga Karmachari Sanghtana. Both dignitaries provided valuable perspectives on disability-related issues, emphasizing the challenges faced by persons with special abilities and their expectations from the railway services.
Attended by 200 railway staff members the training session aimed to enhance the sensitivity and preparedness of railway employees in catering to the diverse needs of passengers with disabilities. The practical insights shared during the session reinforced the importance of creating an inclusive and accessible environment within the railway system.
This initiative underscores Central Railway’s commitment to fostering a culture of empathy, inclusivity, and superior service for all passengers, reflecting its dedication to social responsibility.
