Nagpur :- Rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva was performed on the occasion of Mahashivratri festival in the ancient Shri Shiv Temple located at Bellishop Railway Colony, Kamathi Road. On this occasion, Dr. Praveen Dabli and P. Satya Rao along with their spouses, Virendra Jha, Pandit Krishna Murali Pandey, Deepak Gyanchandani, Manish Naidu, Premlal Yadav and their families performed Abhishek and wished for everyone’s good health, harmony, coordination and happiness and prosperity. A large number of devotees were present on this occasion.
After the consecration, the puja was concluded by performing havan and aarti. Thereafter the temple complex was opened for all the devotees. A large number of devotees have been lining up in the temple premises since morning to worship Lord Shiva. Proper arrangements have been made in the temple premises for all the devotees. Sunderkand was recited by the devotees and 200 liters of milk was distributed by the friends and family with the help of former corporator Sandeep. Also, Sabudana Khichdi and Sabudana Kheer were distributed by Akash Raipurkar, Mohit Gupta, Sujit Patel, Karan Surfan Mitra family. Rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva was performed again in the fourth prahar.
Let it be known that this is the same temple where the sun rays from Gudipadwa enter the sanctum sanctorum to anoint Lord Shiva and Ram.
