The Welcome Assembly for Grades IX, X and XII commenced with this uplifting quotation which set the tone for a new session filled with vigour and optimism. The assembly began with a prayer to the Almighty to mark this auspicious occasion. Dr Brijbhushan Upadhyay, Headmaster, Senior Section, welcomed the senior students with a Sanskrit shlok that exhorted them to follow the path of learning and shun unproductive pursuits.
Yogeeta Umalkar, Senior Coordinator, Grades IX-XII, addressed the school regarding instructions for the coming session, and briefed the students about certain dos and don’ts to be followed meticulously.
It is the head of an institution that steers the institution to its ultimate goal. The Principal Ritu Sharma shared her thoughts about the course to be charted by the seniors in the coming session. She declared that she was certain that the new session would bring accolades for DIPSITES, be it in the sphere of discipline or academics and extra-curricular activities.
Prizes were awarded to meritorious students who had excelled in various inter- school competitions in the previous session.
The assembly concluded with the students concurring with the thoughts expressed and pledging to bring glory to their alma mater.
