Nagpur :- Since its advent, the Internet has become an indispensable part of our daily lives. What was once considered a luxury has now quickly turned into a necessity. Aside from being a communication tool, the internet has influenced both public and private spheres of human life. However, the internet’s wide access has also opened the doors to numerous risks. Hence Safer Internet Day is observed every year on the second day of the second week of February with an aim to provide safer and better internet, where every user gets to use the internet responsibly and without getting their data leaked.
The students of Class VII D of Delhi Public School Kamptee Road, Nagpur presented an assembly on the topic ‘Safer Internet Day’ on 8th February, 2023 to highlight the significance of day and spread the message that everyone should use online technology responsibly in order to safeguard their privacy. They presented an informative PPT and shared a few safety tips to avoid a great deal of harm on the web. They alerted the students to be cautious users by presenting the meaning of ‘E-SAFETY’ in a creative way. A poem was also presented to reinforce the need to be safe on the internet.
The Principal addressed the students and told them that the Internet represents both risks and opportunities for young people. It’s up to them how they use it constructively for their benefit and also to be smart and safe while using the internet.
