Record of Chief Minister’s Medical Relief Fund Disbursement of Rs 100 crore in a year

– More than twelve thousand patients have been benefited

– Chief Minister Eknath Shinde hails CMRF’s team

Mumbai :- Sir, I got a new life because of you. With these words, Dharma Sonawane, who hails from Nashik, expressed his feelings to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Like Sonawane, around 12 thousand 500 patients of the state, who have received medical assistance through the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cell are going to have similar feelings. Rs 100 crores of medical aid was given during this year through the CMRF cell. While appreciating team of the CMRF cell, the Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that this is a unique record. He also asked the team of the CMRF cell to work more effectively to help the needy patients.

The Monsoon Session of the Legislature concluded yesterday.Dharma Sonawane was provided a cheque of Rs one Lakh for a medical assistance by the Chief Minister Eknath Shinde at the chief minister’s office in the state legislature. He is the same Dharma Sonawane, who was provided help by the Chief Minister. A few days ago, while returning from Mumbai to Thane, the Chief Minister spotted an ambulance standing on the road side. The chief minister stopped the convoy and asked the patient about his well being…Sonawane was admitted to a hospital in Thane by an ambulance, which was provided from his convoy. At that time, the Chief Minister did not only provide an ambulance to Sonawane but also availed him treatment at a private hospital in Thane. The expense of this treatment was paid from the CMRF, a cheque of Rs one lakh was handed over to Sonawane yesterday. On this occasion, Sonawane conveyed his feelings to the Chief Minister stating that he got a new life because of the chief minister.

The Chief Minister said that the feelings of gratitude on Sonawane’s face is a unique satisfaction. While replying to the last week motion in the Legislative Assembly yesterday, the Chief Minister had appreciated the work of the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund cell. The Chief Minister expressed that assistance to the needy people would continue to be lenient but timely assistance should be availed to them.

The Chief Minister appreciated the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cell for attaining the milestone of disbursing Rs 100 crore in the last one year. He also said that this milestone was achieved due to the tireless work done and the readiness shown for patient care. , Nilesh Deshmukh, along with all the medical assistants, government officials and staff working in their team of the cell. The graph of medical assistance of this cell has been rising continuously. Earlier it has reached the milestone of providing 50 crores to the needy patients and now100 crores of medical assistance to the needy patients. This CMRF cell has become a ray of hope for the needy patients of the state.
