Mumbai – The newly appointed Consul General of Qatar in Mumbai Ahmad Saad M H Al – Sulaiti called on Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Wednesday (22 Dec).
The Consul General told the Governor that Qatar is all set to host the much awaited FIFA World Cup football in 2022. He invited the Governor to visit Qatar during the World Cup. The Consul General told the Governor that people of Indian origin are making a handsome contribution to various walks of life in Qatar.
The Governor thanked Qatar for making available Liquid Medical Oxygen to Maharashtra during the COVID – 19 pandemic. This helped in saving many precious lives, said the Governor. The Governor appealed to Qatar to invest in various sectors in India and become partners in development.
