Nagpur :- The Pension Adalat 2024 (II) was successfully conducted at Gunjan Sabhagrih, Central Railway, Nagpur Division, on 16th December 2024, following the directives of the Railway Board. The event was inaugurated by Rupesh Chandekar, Additional Divisional Manager, in the presence of Sanjhi Jain, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, who addressed the retired railway employees.
The Pension Adalat witnessed the receipt of a total of 94 applications from retired employees. After a detailed review, 8 cases were found to be tenable, while 86 cases were deemed non-tenable. Out of the 8 tenable cases, payments amounting to Rs. 5,68,083 were disbursed in 5 cases on the spot. The remaining cases were forwarded to the concerned banks with necessary instructions to release payments in accordance with the respective Pension Payment Orders (PPOs).
During the event, Sanjhi Jain, Sr. DPO, personally handed over payment advices to the beneficiaries. The program was attended by representatives of recognized unions and the Pensioners Association, who actively participated and contributed to the discussions.
The Pension Adalat 2024 (II) was conducted in a seamless and organized manner, thanks to the diligent efforts of the Settlement Section team. Shivshankar M. Borkar, APO (Elect.), extended a vote of thanks to all participants, stakeholders, and the organizing team for their collective support in ensuring the success of the event.
