Nagpur :-The goal of a Waldorf Educator is to develop a child’s mind, body and spirit by cultivating the imagination, awakening a sense of truth and inspiring a feeling of responsibility. What better place than a Farm to explore the process of farming, growing fruits and vegetables? Teachers and the Kids of Kindergarten and Grades (I, II and III) of NWIS visited Nakshatra Farms, Katol Road, on 4th of October, 2024 for a few hours of fun and learning about sowing and friendly animals. They played in the pool and the elder ones explored physical activities. They were served fresh fruits and juice from the farm and after a tiring couple of hours the students and Team of Teachers sat down to relish the Tiffin. With a promise to return for Farm Shala II during November end, the happy children returned with a token from the Owners of Farm fresh fruits and ginger pickle. The Directors, Nishaji N. Saraf and Sanket N. Saraf were happy that the Parents trust the Waldorf way of education and the Parents appreciated the efforts of Management and Teachers.
