Maha Governor presents AI assisted Smart Glasses to Visually Impaired children

Mumbai :- Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais presented the AI assisted Smart Glasses to 100 visually impaired children at a programme held at Malad, Mumbai on Saturday (8 Jun).

The programme was organised by the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission in association with the District Legal Service Authority – Mumbai Suburban District and the Hetu Charitable Trust.

The Governor felicitated the Minister for Skill Development Mangal Prabhat Lodha and other donors for supporting the purchase of AI assisted Smart Glasses for the visually impaired persons. The website of Hetu Charitable Trust was also launched on the occasion.

Supreme Court Judge Justice Sandeep Mehta, Bombay High Court judges Justice Shivkumar Dighe and Justice Abhay Ahuja, Chairman of Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission Justice (Retd) K.K. Tated and Secretary of Hetu Charitable Trust Rikhabchand Jain were prominent among those present.
