Mumbai :- Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais performed the consecration of the Shri Ram Darbar in the Sri Gundi Mandir Complex in Raj Bhavan on Monday (22 Jan).
The consecration ceremony was organised to coincide with the consecration of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
The Governor accompanied by his wife Rambai Bais performed the aarti alongwith his family members and the residents of Raj Bhavan complex.
Raj Bhavan has an ancient temple of Sri Gundi, also known as Sagar Mata and Sakalai. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited the renovated Sri Gundi Mandir in the Raj Bhavan premises during his visit on 14th June 2022.
The Governor and Rambai Bais were welcomed and felicitated by the members of the Raj Bhavan Devi Mandir Committee.
The Governor and Rambai Bais met the teams of construction workers of the temple and applauded the Raj Bhavan Devi Mandir Samiti for maintenance and cleanliness of the temple.
