1. The mortal remains of Lance Havildar Bhonde Chandrasekhar Rupchand of Bhandara District, who made supreme sacrifice, while serving the Indian Army, reached at his native place Village Dongar Gaon, Distt Bhandara, Maharashtra .
The last rites was carried out with full Military ilitary honours at his native place. 
2. L Hav Bhonde was on QRT duty, when the vehicle he was travelling in , met with an accident. 
He had fallen out of vehicle and had rolled down into valley. He was brought to Military Hospital post rescue operation, where he succumbed to his injuries.
3. Yesterday, in a solemn ceremony at BB Cantt in Srinagar, Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi, GOC-in-C Northern Command and all ranks paid homage to the gallant soldiers on behalf of the proud Nation. He is survived by his wife.
