Nagpur :- Association of all Pediatricians of Nagpur and Vidharbha, a prestigious organization with over 450 pediatricians committed for betterment of Pediatric fraternity in all witnessed a major event of Installation of new office bearers for the year 2024. Here Dr. Kush Jhunjhunwala took over the reigns as President while Dr. Yash Banait as Secretary of the organization.
In a wherein the Indian culture was proudly reembraced with all the office bearers wore Kurta pyajaams in unison and were installed with Shivaji topi, Puneeri phetas, and maharashtrian topi bearing tag lines Nagpuri AOPian and the theme of this year “बालक ब्राह्मण प्रकाशयति”. All the guests were welcomed with peda and a pearl mala with applying tika on forehead in a traditional manner.
It was a event wherein Col. Dr. Gurmeet Singh Sarla from Military hospital, Khadki, Pune shared his experience of providing care even in hostile situations. A military man serving during Kargil war shared his story where a Saviour became a defender and even in the line of duty had to neutralize the offenders. Serving in extreme weather conditions where even basic necessities appeared as luxuries bought tears in the eyes of all present.
Adding to it Neeolotpal Superintendent of Police, Gadchiroli shared his ordeals where Left wing Extremist falsely propagated their ulterior agenda and were against the development in the area. They had to be dealt in a total different manner as the mislead citizens had to be shown the real picture and convinced for development. Many encounters were in ambush and had to be dealt with sternly. The spine chilling experiences gave goosebumps to all present.
Dr. Anup Marar Director and CEO Meghe Group of Health Sciences gave a different perspective of Entrepreneurship as Doctors to shape and enhance health care.
Dr. Vasant Khalatkar President Elect CIAP 2024 gave the oath of responsibilities to the office bearers. He gave a inspiring speech of taking Nagpur at National level.
Other office bearers include President Elect Dr. Shilpa Hazare, Treasurer Dr. Mustafa Ali, Vice President Dr. Pankaj Agrawal, Dr. Dinesh Saroj, Joint Secretary Dr. Hari Mangtani, Dr. Nilesh Kumbhare.
The events was graced by stalwarts in the medical field like Dr. MS Rawat, Dr. Uday Bodhankar, Dr. Avinash Banait, Dr. Manjusha Giri President IMA, Dr. Sanjay Jain President AMS, Dr. Ashwini Tayade Secretary AMS, Dr. Meenakshi Girish, Dr. Girish Subramniam to name few. Dr. Yash Banait proposed the vote of thanks as the event concluded on a high note.
