Mumbai :- The yearlong celebrations of the 150th anniversary of Anjuman I Islam institution was launched in presence of Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais in Mumbai on Thursday (27 July).
The Governor felicitated 57 faculty members and students of various educational institutions of Anjuman-I-Islam who obtained Ph. D. degrees at the function held at Anjuman’s Saif Tyabji Girls High School, Mumbai Central. 
President of Anjuman-I-Islam Dr. Zahir Kazi, Vice Chancellor of University of Mumbai Dr. Ravindra Kulkarni, Senior Vice President of ‘Anjuman’ Mushtaq Antulay, Principals, teachers and alumni of various Anjuman institutions were present.
