Nagpur :-To ensure smooth passenger movement and effective crowd control for north-side running trains, Central Railway’s Nagpur Division has taken several key measures at Nagpur Railway Station, along with other important stations such as Ballarshah, Chandrapur, Sevagram, Betul, and Pandhurna.
Key Initiatives:
Additional “May I Help You” Booths: Extra assistance booths were set up to guide passengers and provide real-time travel information.
Deployment of Checking Staff: Dedicated checking staff were stationed at various locations to assist passengers in reaching their designated platforms and to manage the crowd efficiently.
Special Assistance for Senior Citizens and Women Passengers: Coolies (porters) were deployed to provide free luggage assistance, ensuring hassle-free access to their respective berths/seats.
Regular Announcements for Special Trains: Since special trains were not pre-fed into the system, continuous manual announcements were made to keep passengers informed.
Support by RPF and Checking Staff: Additional assistance was provided by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and checking staff to help passengers reach their designated berths and seats safely.
These well-coordinated efforts significantly enhanced the passenger experience and ensured smooth operations during peak hours. Central Railway remains committed to providing safe and seamless travel for all passengers.
