Nagpur :- Kali Mata Cricket Club organized a one-day tennis ball cricket tournament for the youth of the Bengali community at Motibagh Railway Stadium. This is the 8th year of the competition.
8 teams from the city participated in this tournament. Knock out matches were conducted between these teams. Out of which the final match took place between Laxmi Club and Imambada Club. In which Laxmi Club won the match in a tough match.
The winning team of the competition, Laxmi Club was given a cup and 61,000 cash prize money. Similarly, the runner up team Imambara was given Rs 41,000 in cash and trophy.
North Nagpur MLA Dr. Nitin Raut, Dr. Praveen Dabli, P. Satyarao, Prakashrao (Gundurao) also registered their presence in this competition. Nitin Raut also played cricket with the youth here.
A large number of youth and citizens of the society were present to see this. All the people of the society including Arun Ghorai, Prashant Ghorai, Shrikant Roy, Tushar Bora, Tarun Nayak, Bola Jana, Mrinmoy Bhari cooperated in making the event a success.
