– Prime Minister Narendra Modi wins the hearts of Nashikars
Nashik :- Prime Minister Narendra Modi, visited Nashik city to participate in celebrations of the National Youth Festival (NYF), Modi received a warm welcome from thousands of Nashikars who lined flanking both sides of the road through which the motorcade “Road Show’ traversed. Immediately upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s arrival into Nashik, citizens held up welcome placards and banners all the while chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ that rent the air in an eclectic ambience that transcended to a surreal atmosphere.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s entourage landed at the Nilgiri Bagh helipad facility earlier in the morning before proceeding to the hotel Mirchi junction in an open jeep cavalcade decorated in hues of saffron through floral arrangements launching the ‘road show’ feature today. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Shri. Ajit Pawar, MLA Chandrashekhar Bawankule also accompanied the Prime Minister Narendra Modi throughout the ‘Road Show’.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s convoy then headed for Tapovana even while experiencing an immersive and overwhelming crowd participation, comprising youth and women, in large numbers who took to the streets to welcome him wholeheartedly in Nashik.
Various traditional tableau’s of India’s varied culture and regional folk dances and music were on display including the Maharashtra Lezim team, Nashik Dhol team, traditional instruments being played along the entire route of the ‘Road Show’ to welcome the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The eagerness to see Modi closely was openly visible in the enthusiasm on display by the citizens. The Lezim troupe, Dhol-Tasha troupe and young men and women adorned in traditional regional costumes added vitality and color to the public event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi travel across Nashik stretching from the hotel Mirchi chowk right up to Tapovan showed immense public excitement, vitality and joy. The youth of Nashik welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, waving the Indian Tricolor as well as saffron flags of Hindutva. Simultaneously, youth groups from various regional centers presented demonstrations of indigenous art forms including Mallakhamba and traditional arts on the occasion. The Dindi, which came from Trimbakeshwar and consisted of Bal Warkaris, was a special attraction. Tribal and traditional folk dances, Punjabi dances in various styles and colorful costumes were on full display to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
