Nagpur :- The Central Railway Nagpur Division solemnly commemorated the 68th Mahaparinirvan Day of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on December 6, 2024, at Gunjan Hall, DRM Office, Nagpur. The event was led by P.S. Khairkar, Additional Divisional Railway Manager (Administration), and Rupesh Chandekar, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, along with senior officers and staff members.
The ceremony began with a floral tribute to the portrait of Dr. Ambedkar, followed by a collective observance of silence, reflecting on his immense contributions to the nation. Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy as the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and his efforts toward social justice, equality, and empowerment of marginalized communities were honored during the event.
Railway officials and employees actively participated in the ceremony, reaffirming their commitment to uphold the values and principles advocated by Dr. Ambedkar.
