In January 2025, Nagpur Division recorded a total scrap sale of ₹2.18 crore. The details of the sale are as follows:
*Rails:* 418.646 metric tons (MT)
*Points and Way (PWAY):* 80.620 metric tons (MT)
*Ferrous Scrap:* 175.00 metric tons (MT)
*Non-Ferrous Scrap:* 77.573 metric tons (MT)
For the financial year 2024-25, the total scrap sales have reached ₹38.50 crore, contributing significantly to the overall revenue of the railways. This achievement reflects the division’s operational efficiency and commitment to sustainable growth.
