Nagpur :- In furtherance of the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for strengthening rural economy and economically empowering women, the Confederation of All India Traders ( CAIT) today announced the creation of CAIT Women Business Club to support the rural economy is an impactful initiative that can empower women entrepreneurs, drive economic growth, and strengthen rural communities. CAIT National President C Bhartia and Secretary General & MP from Delhi’s Chandni Chowk Praveen Khandelwsl while making this announcement at Nagpur said that this campaign also aligns with PM Modi’s call for Vocal For Local and Atamnirbhar Bharat.
Bhartia & Khandelwsl said that so far the CAIT has created such clubs in 57 cities in different states. Objectives of the Women Business Club Include empower Women entrepreneurs by providing women in tier 2 and tier 3 cities and other semi urban and rural areas with the resources and skills needed to start and grow their businesses particularly in handicrafts, agriculture, food processing, and textiles that thrive in rural areas. The CAIT network will help women achieve economic stability, reducing reliance on traditional patriarchal systems.
Bhartia & Khandelwsl said that strengthen the rural economy is another mandate but boosting household incomes and create local job opportunities, leading to community development. The Women Business Club will run skill development programs but holding Workshops and imparting training in areas like tailoring, handicrafts, organic farming, food processing, and digital marketing. It will also enhance digital skills but educating women on using social media platforms to sell products. The Club will also work for empowering women to take leadership roles in their businesses and communities.
Bhartia & Khandelwsl further said that the Womem heading the Club will also engage in making available financial support and resources to the needy people. It will also create a network of rural women entrepreneurs for knowledge sharing and collaboration and will connect rural businesses to urban markets and export opportunities. Pair women with successful entrepreneurs for guidance is another feature of this initiative.
