Mumbai :-Ambassadors and Consuls of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) New Delhi Committee met Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais and discussed various issues of mutual interest at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Tue (17 Oct). The visit was organized with the objective of increasing trade and cultural relations between India and South East Asian countries.
High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam in India Dato Alaihuddin Hj Mohd Taha, Ambassador of Cambodia Koy Kuong, Charge D’Affairs of Indonesia Masni Eriza, Ambassador of Laos Bounmy Vanmany, Charge D’Affairs of Malaysia Amizal Fadzli Rajali, Ambassador of Myanmar Moe Kyaw Aung, High Commissioner of Singapore Simon Wong, Ambassador of Thailand Pattarat Hongtong and Consul General of Vietnam in Mumbai Le Quang Bien were present.
All the ambassadors visited the places of historic importance in the Raj Bhavan premises. The visit was organized at the initiative of the Industries Department and MIDC. Principal Secretary Industries Dr Harshdeep Kamble delivered the welcome speech while Joint CEO of MIDC Vijay Rathod proposed the vote of thanks.
