Nagpur :-Mahesh Waghmare, Chief Commercial Inspector, Nagpur DRM Office, exhibited remarkable courage and quick thinking by saving the life of a passenger in a dangerous situation at Nagpur Railway Station.
On the morning of 21st December 2024, Shri Waghmare was present at Platform No. 1 of Nagpur Railway Station when Train No. 11045 began its journey. During this time, three passengers attempted to board the moving train, and one of them slipped, becoming trapped between the train and the platform.
Without any concern for his own safety, Shri Waghmare acted swiftly, sprinted towards the passenger, and pulled him to safety with immense determination and strength. His timely and selfless act averted a potential tragedy and saved the passenger’s life.
This heroic act reflects Waghmare’s exceptional bravery, dedication to duty, and compassion for humanity. His quick decision-making and sense of responsibility stand as an inspiration to all.
