Nagpur :- Headquarters Maintenance Command celebrated International Day of Yoga with a theme, “Yoga for Self and Society”. The Yoga ground vibrated with enthusiasm as the International Day of Yoga was celebrated on 21 June 2024. Air Marshal Vijay Kumar Garg AVSM, VSM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command, Mrs. Ritu Garg, President AFFWA (R) and 450 Air Force personnel and their families participated in the mass yoga session.
The theme “Yoga for Self and Society” served as a powerful reminder that yoga’s benefits extend far beyond the individual. The mass yoga session also provided a unique platform for Air Force personnel and their families to collectively enhance the existing bonds of camaraderie.
All personnel were also encouraged to imbibe yoga in their day-to-day life to enhance physical and mental resilience.
